Is this QR menu maker really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no fee and no Spark logo on your posters or pictures. The phone page that opens from the code shows a small “Made with SparkMyName” link at the bottom.
How does the QR code menu work?
The code opens a simple page on sparkmyname.com that shows your list on the customer’s phone. The whole list is stored inside the link itself, after the # sign, so it is not saved on a server and no app is needed.
What happens when my prices change?
Because the list lives inside the code, a new price means a new code. Change the price here, then print the new poster or letter page. Your list is kept in this browser, so you only change what is new.
How many items can I add?
Up to 40 items in up to 6 sections. Spark picks the biggest letter size that fits each size and tells you if a list does not fit. A very long list with many notes can be too long for one QR code; Spark says so and shows what takes the most room.
What sizes do I get?
An 11 × 17 inch wall poster and an 18 × 24 inch big wall poster (PDF), a letter page (PDF), a 1080 × 1920 phone picture and a 1080 × 1080 square post (PNG), and the QR code on its own (PNG). Print at “Actual size” so the code stays big enough to scan.
Is my list or logo uploaded?
No. Your list, colors and logo are drawn on your own device. Your details are kept in this browser so you do not have to type them again.
